Having read "The hidden life of trees" by Peter Wohlehben, a curiosity towards an objective understanding of forest developed inside me. Living in Europe in the "systematic" environment also pushed me towards witnessing surrounding with a more in-depth eye than before. Having brought in India, I was initially interested in plants, in particular Central India. I tried to look for a better popular scientific commentary on the trees of central India. But, there are not many books specifically to central India. The only book, I could get was a field guide from an author called Pradeep Krishnan, known as "The trees of central India". This vacation (Dec 2019), I will visit Satpura National Park for an amateur exploration of the central Indian trees. I hope to update this page with the new experiences and adventures on this trip.
